Victoria Amplifier Company, founded in 1993 by Mark Baier, has earned a reputation for building some of the finest hand-wired tube amps available today. Inspired by classic '50s and '60s American circuits, Victoria amps are known for their authentic vintage tones, meticulous craftsmanship, and high-quality components. The Silver Sonic is a standout in their lineup, offering a classic tweed-style circuit with modern refinements, including tube-driven spring reverb and harmonic tremolo for added depth and dimension.
This Silver Sonic delivers 20 watts of beautifully dynamic tube tone, powered by a 6V6 push-pull circuit. A Celestion Blue G12 Alnico speaker has been installed, giving it chime, warmth, and a beautifully compressed high end when pushed. A bright cap has been added to the volume control, enhancing clarity at lower settings while still allowing the amp to break up naturally when cranked. The tube-driven reverb and harmonic tremolo offer lush, immersive textures, making this amp perfect for everything from articulate cleans to rich, organic overdrive. The onboard half-power switch lets you dial in lower-wattage operation for more flexibility in different playing environments.
This 2018 Silver Sonic is in excellent condition, with the grille cloth and tolex in great shape, though there are a few small scuffs on the tolex from normal use. It comes with a protective cover to keep it safe between gigs and sessions. If you're after a boutique, hand-wired amp with stunning vintage tone, this Silver Sonic is hard to beat.
A beautifully crafted amp with classic tweed-inspired tones, modern refinements, and a Celestion Blue upgrade—ready for stage or studio!
