Powering the watch is Omega's top-tier caliber 562 movement, one of the last superior 500's series movements used before Omega began trying to reduce their costs. It has 24 jewels and is one of the finest mass-produced automatic movements from era.
Uncommonly large for a Seamaster, it measures approximately 36mm in diameter without the crown, the size of Rolex Datejust.
It is fully Omega down to the dial, hands, and crown crown and presents in beautiful restored condition.
As part of the restoration the very fine caliber 562 movement with fine swans neck regulation has been disassembled down to its last screw and cleaned and oiled.
1950's and 60's Seamasters are great buys as parts are readily available for their well-made movements, and they're not hard to service.
